VISION FOR CARING
30 Years of Impact Across Papua New Guinea

Restoring sight is more than a medical act—it’s the return of independence, dignity, and hope. Every patient we serve through the Laila Foundation reminds me why we began this journey.

About Us
The Laila Foundation is a Papua New Guinea-based nonprofit restoring sight and hope through free cataract surgery. Founded in 1994 in memory of Laila, we’ve reached thousands through outreach missions serving those without access to care. We’re leading efforts to end avoidable blindness and make a cataract-free PNG a reality.
